- 03Realization of various studies related to the development and rationalization of distribution circuits (a study on the technical control of import and export 2000-2003 / a study on the master plan for large surfaces 2006- 2007).
- 04Manage the supply operations collected on behalf of the State in its capacity as central purchasing body (2015).
- 05Carrying out public utility operations, including:
- 06Creation of the Commercial and Logistics Free Zone in Ben Guerdane (since 2016).
- Importation of the following basic products at fluctuating prices: sugar / tea / green coffee / rice.
- Short-term imports of certain agricultural products which are experiencing a shortage of supply (Milk/Banana/Potato…).
- Packaging of tea, rice and sugar in the La Goulette Unit, as well as through subcontracting.
- Developing the commodity storage infrastructure by expanding the network of storage and distribution centers by creating 8 new centers, bringing the total number to 17 storage and distribution centers.
- Contributing to the implementation of the sugar system through:
Providing the Tunisian Sugar Company (STS) with raw sugar in order to refine it according to its production capacity and distribute the refined sugar on the domestic market (following the decision of the Ministerial Council of December 28, 2010).
Acquisition and marketing of the entire production of the General Company of Northern Industries "Ginor" of sugar extracted from local sugar beet (ministerial working session of September 12, 2014 on the financing of the sugar beet system in Tunisia in title of the 2013 -2014 season).
Supplying the rest of the needs of the internal market in white sugar (Ministerial Council of 30 May 2016 relating to the sugar system).
Packaging of refined white sugar intended for family consumption by the Tunisian Sugar Company and the "GINOR" company (Ministerial Council of 30 May 2016 relating to the sugar regime)
- Ensuring the application of the provisions of the specifications relating to the marketing of road transport equipment manufactured locally or imported, monitors compliance with the obligations of manufacturers-suppliers and their agents, and submits periodic evaluation reports to the authorities authorities, under the supervision of a monitoring committee made up of representatives of the ministries concerned (since August 1995).
